About ITC

Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai Campus was established in 2002 and is directly affiliated with Beijing Normal University.
The Information Technology College （ITC）was founded in the same year with the goal of offering practical, state-of-the-art information technology (IT) degree courses. ITC includes three departments: the department of computer science and technology, department of software engineering and department of electronic information science and technology.

Faculty

In order to have a high-level teaching staff, the college has brought in distinguished professionals throughout the country and overseas.
At present the college has more than 40 academic staff, and among which 10 professors, 9 associate professors, 3 senior engineers and 20 lecturers, and quite a lot of them have overseas study or research experience. Our academic staff are not only academically well-qualified but have professional industry experience which they are able to incorporate into their teaching.

A number of laboratories are being used for teaching and extracurricular study and more labs are planning to be build in the next 1~2 years.
